Party Per Purpose (PPP) is a non-profit organization that was founded by Gina Ramirez, a Community Leader, Restorative Coach and Peace Circle Facilitator. Ramirez is heavily invested in the Brighton Park community and has been for over 26 years. Ramirez is an ex-gang member from the same community she serves, seeking ways to better the neighborhood she grew up in and offer resources and services that are not offered in schools, homes and low-income families. Ramirez faced the same barriers and obstacles youth are encountering today. Ramirez's overall goal is to prevent youth going down the wrong path like she did. Ramirez believes in exposing youth to different spaces, environments and opportunities to prove to them that they are worthy of success in life.
Our mission is to bring healthy, positive, healing resources to the community to create sanctuaries for the youth we serve. Since 2017, PPP has been raising funds and spreading awareness to create Brighton Park’s 1st teen center. PPP has a mission to provide youth between the ages of 13-19 years old with mentorship, workshops, peace circles, and seasonal outings. PPP focuses on in-school youth, out-of-school youth, gang affiliated youth and criminal justice involved youth. Additional resources provided are alternative education, employment, training, internships and more.
PPP partners with local community organizations, schools and local businesses. Also partnering with other communities is essential to our mission to expose our youth to diverse areas in Chicago. Our community expands across the neighborhoods in the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. From Englewood to Humboldt Park to Roseland and Oak Park to Calumet Park and Sauk Trail.
If you're interested in learning how we can work together we would love to hear from you! We would love to network and build that connection so please contact us for all collaborations, partnerships and/sponsorships.
Thank you!
